Naked Hosting has been a great benefit to my site. Being a new webmaster, with little resources but a need for high quality hosting, I did a lot of research and that led me to Naked Hosting. They provide 100 Gigs of storage, 1000 Gigs of bandwidth and unlimited domains for about $12 a month in their “Insane” package, and its costs even less if you pay by the year. Naked Hosting doesn’t lock you into a contract, so if you’re not sure if your project is going to be long term that’s fine with them.

Naked Hosting provides a great front end control panel and they have many of the most popular scripts, CMS, and blogs ready to install with the push of a button. Everything in the control panel is well documented and this was a great help to me, since I really had no experience whatsoever when I started my site.

I have only had to use their Help system once, and the turn around time was quick and they resolved my issue literally within minutes. Even better, they had a great attitude and made me feel like they were happy to be of service. That’s something you just don’t find much these days.

Another feature that I have really appreciated is that they notify you well in advance by e-mail of any potential peformance issues due to upgrades or security patches. They keep you informed about what they are doing behind the scenes if it might have any impact on your site. You don’t have to go to a hard to find ‘news’ link to find information. Best of all, they do the work in the time frame they set. For me, just being told before it happens, rather than during or after gives me peace of mind.

I also want to mention that I have a high-speed home connection (10Mbps down/1Mbps up) and my server has always allowed me to take advantage of that. This makes for quick updates and changes to the site which makes my life easier.

I host my sites with Naked Hosting for about 8 month now. I decided to use this hosting because I can pay for this monthly. Personally, I am satisfied with the speed and uptime, they always let you know via e-mail if a scheduled manitenance coming up. At all, the uptime are high as I mentioned. I love WordPress blogging, and I use Fantastico, where you can install WP blogs with one click. You can host as many as you want (but note you have maximum of 100G space on the insane account - this is the lowest you can choose for $11.95 monthly). Host unlimited domains, subdomains, SQL databases and more. The support are superb, they are always online when I tried to reach them, and all you have to provide is your account info and they can solve your problem from their end. They have dumb support sometimes, but hey, every host has dumb ppl. So, all this support thingie happens on a chat-like window. You can use Cpanel to manage your stuff, and monthly bw is 1TB. It’s more than enough for the first couple month, or some blogs.

Naked host was actually my third host and by far the best. They were willing to move all my sites over to their servers at no cost, continually offer technical service that is superior to anything I’ve experienced in the past, and have not disappointed me in the least since I joined in March of this year. I will definitely be keeping my hosting needs with them and suggest you do the same!

I went to NH because I had serious stability problems with my webair account. I talked a lot with Kacy on ICQ, and I got all the right answers. Their sales department is real good.

The problem is the support. First of all, it takes forever to get a reply. I have had support tickets that went unanswered for 24+ hours and I had to contact Kacy to get it looked at.

The last 3months have been with regular downtime, mostly in the weekends where up-time is needed the most. In the weekends there are rarely any live support, so most issues goes unfixed until Monday.

The support tickets is a mess. You get 3 categories, but none of them are tech related, so its a wild guess where you should send it.

The support system itself is running on a separate CMS, so you need to create a new login to check and create support tickets.

They never notify of scheduled downtime, and the 24/7 monitoring of the sites have never worked.

Except one time, it have always been us or our clients, that reported the websites as offline.

The support staff is like a bot-script. They dont even try to understand what you tell them. Example. We got a lot of 503 errors (to much traffic to server) and the support told us that he did not see a problem on the server. 503 errors are server generated, so its the server that tells us that its overloaded.

When the support staff dont even understand things like that, it makes it impossible to have a constructive conversation with someone you are paying to take care of your servers.

I just moved over to naked hosting from a cheaper host, but I couldn’t get my script ran on the last host. Here I had some problems at first, but they have a 24 hour phone support, which I’ve used to get all my issues resolved. They also have a guy available for live web chat. And they have all the features you need to run an adult website. Thing I did not like is that they asign you a login an password, I couldn’t choose it, which gets confusing, also there is several different areas you have to login to, I certified, your cpanel, http://ftp. I eventually changed my password but still had problems login in because I had a mess with the different areas and different logins. But thanks to their support everything got resolved, their support is the reason I’m with them and paying more that I would for some other places.
