I have only been with velcom for about 90 days. the greater part
of the first half of those 90 i was working on building the site.
Ive only been up for about 2 months at this point but for one
weekend I was totally down. i submitted immediately because this
only my second weekend with them and i was experiencing some major
latency issues and not being able to display most of the images on
my site from a friday - monday. on tuesday they resolved the issue
and I havent had a problem since. but for that weekend—which was
HIGHLY ANTICIPATED on my end due to our major push for the first
month–i had gotten little to know resolution and mostly “its on
your end” or “its your isp” replies. this is when i realized that
THERE IS NO WEEKEND SUPPORT WHATSOEVER AT VELCOM. i know this due
to my experience coupled with the fact it states it flat out on
their site (hours of operation) as well as when i originally
contacted them specifically on a firsay afternoon i did not
receive a reply until monday afternoon. I also PAID for my hosting
on a saturday and didnt receive a response of payment until
monday. BESIDES THE WEEKEND ISSUES, theyre cheap, and beautiful
and i reccommend them overall. they offer an unprecedented
package!
